After six weeks of exciting metal, we've come down to the Grand Finale. Frankly, the day could easily have gone to either Decapitated or The Human Abstract, without much controversy from the literal dozens of people who follow the Arsies.
There is one area, however, in which Decapitated rules above The Human Abstract: the darkness. Arguably the most evil song on “Digital Veil” is “Holographic Sight”. Pretty dark. Now, compare that to “Pest” or “United”. That new sensation? That's your chest caving in.
Congratulations to Decapitated! “Carnival Is Forever” earns them the ultimate prize, the Gilded Arse (I'm gonna have to work on getting a good picture of that bronze bust).
